When Aang and Katara got married Zuko stood beside Katara because he wanted to be the Maid of Honor
"Leaves from the vine
Falling so slow
Like fragile tiny shells
Drifting in the foam
Little soldier boy
Come marching home
Brave soldier boy
Comes marching home”
The 5 times Sokka forgot Toph was blind and the time he didn’t.
Ahhh! Great! That’s enough! Ok, we love each other.
"You know, Prince Zuko, destiny is a funny thing. You never know how things are going to work out. But if you keep an open mind and an open heart, I promise you will find your own destiny someday.”
Can we talk about this for a second? Because this is exactly how history in the US is taught. Since I went to college, I’ve learned dozens of “facts” I’d been taught about the US military and our wars were complete and utter falsehoods made to make us appear the heroes. Every time I watch ATLA I discover more and more statements about the world around us and I just fucking love it.
